European Union Spec
On October 1, 2001 the European Union decided that all shipments made must be from certified Heat Treated Lumber! Heat Treated lumber must be kiln dried to a minimum core temperature of 56 C for at least 30 minutes in a closed chamber which has been evaluated and tested officially for this purpose by a third party inspection service.
